Juicy, juicy, juicy black cherry, slightly candied, with fresh loam and cocoa, a round, soft medium-bodied palate with light tannins, and a short but flavorful finish. This is a bold but cheerful, refreshing wine. Underlying spice notes hint at seriousness and suggest something more sensual, although the strength and structure aren’t there. But who cares? It’s all about fun and exuberance. Grab this on the way to a party. Thoroughly enjoyable.
